Information we collect

What you send through the contact form

We need your name, email address, and message so we can reply. Please do not include sensitive personal information, such as health or financial details, in your message.

What is recorded when you send the form

• Your IP address and the date and time you sent the form. Both are included in the email we receive with your message.
• A coded form (hash) of your IP address, with the times of your recent messages. We store it on our server to limit how many messages can be sent from one address in an hour. For IPv6 addresses, we use only the first half of the address (the network part). The hash can still relate to you, so we treat it as personal information. We store it only after a message has been sent successfully.

What our hosting provider records when you visit

Our hosting provider's server keeps access logs. Each entry records your IP address, browser information (user agent), the page or file requested, the referring page (if your browser sends it), and the date and time.

Cookies, tracking, and third-party resources

We do not use cookies, local storage, session storage, or similar browser storage on this site, and we do not use analytics tools or advertising pixels. The site loads no third-party resources: its fonts and all other files are served from our own server.

How we use information

• To read and reply to your inquiry, and to keep a record of our correspondence.
• To protect the contact form from spam and abuse.
• To run and secure the site.

We do not use your information for marketing email or SMS, and we do not add you to a mailing list.

Legal basis for visitors in the EU and UK

We rely on our legitimate interests for each of the purposes above: replying to inquiries you send us and keeping a record of our correspondence, protecting the contact form from spam and abuse, and keeping the site secure and working.

Who we share information with

• A2 Hosting: hosts this site and our business mailbox, and processes the information described above on our behalf as our service provider. Contact-form messages are sent by the site's mail system to that mailbox.

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights. We do not sell or share your personal information.

International transfers

We are a US company. Personal information collected through the site is stored and processed in the United States.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access, correct, or delete your personal information
• Object to or restrict how we use it
• Receive a copy of it in a portable format
• Not be treated differently for exercising these rights

Notice at collection

This notice summarizes what we collect through the site and why. We provide it voluntarily, for transparency.

• Categories collected: identifiers (name, email address, IP address); professional information (company, if you provide it); the content of your inquiry (project type and message); and internet activity in server access logs (IP address, browser information, pages requested, referring page, date and time).
• Purposes: replying to inquiries, protecting the contact form from spam and abuse, and running and securing the site.
• Retention: contact-form inquiries, including the IP address and time recorded with them, are kept for up to 2 years, or deleted sooner if you ask. Hashed IP addresses stop being used after about one hour and are removed automatically from time to time as the form is used. Server access logs are kept for a limited period under our hosting provider's standard log rotation.
• Sold or shared: No. We do not sell or share personal information.
• Sensitive personal information: No. We do not ask for it.

Children

This site is not directed to children. Children should not send us information through the contact form.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
